What about Hake?

My friend was charged £10.50 for one the other day in a chippie in London.

  1. Halibut without doubt.

  2. Pop into Harry Ramsdens in Guiseley. It's a bit like a time machine. You get to see how much fish and chips will cost in the year 2050.

PS there are much better chippies in the area.

  3. Skate.

  4. There are some tropical fish in a tank at my local chippy.  I asked the guy behind the counter how much for one of the clown fish and he said £50.  That must be more expensive than cod as I got £6.50 change and I only gave him a tenner.

The clown fish died later that week so that was a lucky escape and a pleasent supper.

  5. In my local chippy it's either sole or plaice. They have to be ordered in advance.

  6. In a REGULAR fish and chip shop. Cod.

  7. Plaice.

  8. cod
