What is the most expensive thing you own?

I was inherited a diamond ring. When my mom's mother died she left me with a diamond ring to use someday when I get married. I have a sister and a cousin who are older than I am but my grandmother left it to me. I will be proud to wear it someday.

Do you mean expensive in the sense that it  has monetary value?

In which case I have a lot of jewellery that used to belong to my mum and my granny.

I noticed that people answered in  different ways,i.e. with things money can't buy,i.e.their families,their souls,etc. Of course,taken in that context,we all have ourselves:the most precious thing in the world,plus the people we love.....
