In high school I got real sick and had to go home for 2 months. This girl I liked got everyone in our class to sign a card and send it to me. It was great

people don't do selfless things for me, not to sound like a jerk, but i'm the one that's usually the generous one (i once gave a friend $165 and told them they don't have to pay me back, among other things).

The day after I graduated from college, I went into the hospital for pregnancy related complications...the baby ended up dying and I almost died too.  We are far from rich, but somehow my mother was able to pay some of my bills for me because I didn't have a "real" job yet that would still pay me while I was sick and she cleaned my ENTIRE house while I was recovering. I heart my mommy!
