What is the most gentle yet effective toothpaste?

With a lot of toothpastes I've tried I inhale the scent and they're too strong and can feel like it's burning. Do you know of or use a toothpaste that isn't really harsh? I appreciate any recommendations.

Thank you.

  1. I like Sensadyne, and I would recommend that. Close Up is also okay.

    Hope that helps!!!

Also, if they are still too strong, try holding your breath while you brush so you don't inhale the scent and get that burning feeling...

  2. I'm an older guy that (rather sheepishly) uses CLOSEUP.  It's more of a gel than the others.  AIM is also one you might try.

  3. Prevident 5000 brush bid its a great toothpaste that helps strengthen your enamel and reduces sensitivity....try it its really good....you need to brush 2 weeks with it and then go back to a normal toothpaste for 2 wees and back to prevident for 2 weeks...good luck
