What is the most green and beautiful country in the UK?

This is taking into account the country-side and the people.

England

Scotland

Wales

Northern Ireland

Republic Of Ireland

Recent events have transpired that make me want to visit Scotland, not to mention the fact that I have Scottish blood in me.

  15. I think where I live in Cornwall takes a lot of beating.

My Dad came from the West of Ireland, and I visited his birthplace for the first time 2 years ago. I was very excited leading up to the journey, and people kept telling me how lovely it was. However, when we got there, I was slightly disappointed, as it is NOT as lovely as the gorgeous area of Cornwall I live in, which inspired Kenneth Grahame  to write "Wind in the willows" and "tales of the riverbank" I have yet to visit Scotland, so cannot comment on there yet.
