What is the most important? intelligence quotient or emotional quotient?

The balance of the two, I am quite sure.  I have all I need of one and wish I had more of the other.

Depends on the individual. For someone who functions mainly through their emotions, then probably EQ. For the person who analyses, always looking for the logic in a situation, then the IQ. Me, I'm the latter and put more credence on IQ but I have a friend who mainly functions through her emotions and for her it is EQ.

It depends.  Of course, socially, EQ is more important, but in terms of employment, especially higher echelon jobs/careers, you need both.
