Lailat al-Kadr

because the whole holy Qur'an was revealed from Allah to alsama' al-donia (sky of our world) during that night.. then verses were revealed to the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in parts according to current situations. many verses in Qur'an says that (being revealed in parts).

we don't know exactly which night it is, but most probably among the last ten "odd-numbered" nights. actually this makes us try hard the whole ten nights in a trial to catch it for the great reward...
