What is the most important thing about how your wedding photos look?

it is the place's and face's and the weather and of course you  and your husband to be .a long with the dress i'm wearing and my hair.

Pictures that show how happy and in love you are.  They need to be close enough that you can tell what you each actually looked like, and be high-enough quality that they could be framed and displayed (even if you don't display them, some family member might).  As for poses/groupings, be sure to make a list for the photographer to check off so that you are sure to get the pictures you want.

Oh, and if you plan on having candids, be sure the photographer gives you options for removing pictures from the website (where everyone can view them) so you don't end up with any embarrassing or shocking ones displayed to the family.

I want mine to express who we are as a couple.  I want a few formal posed shots to appease my family and the rest should be much more fun!  Creative poses that show us having a good time!

And make sure to get a good combination of formal shots AND candid shots. You don't want all of one or the other.

The most important thing is that they look fun and natural and document that special day of our lives!  Candid and photojournalistic styles are what I love and want in a photographer.

Their ability to capture each intimate moment is crucial. :D

i wanted to make sure i still looked like myself.

my dress wasn't all elaborate, it didn't have a

12 foot train or anything like that, but it was very

young, romantic, breezy, and slim. i didn't do

an over-the-top hair style or heavy makeup. i

knew if i didn't look like myself in pictures that

i would have to look at for years, i would regret

it... and they can't be redone. my husband is

in the navy and he wore his uniform during the

ceremony. i think your pictures should represent

the two of you as a couple. some people can

go overboard. be natural and smile :) good luck!

How happy you look.  Always smile and keep in mind that you're marrying your best friend.  If you keep those two things in mind, the photographer will take care of the rest.

You don't want to look tired (even if you are), and make sure your makeup and hair look great.

I dont want shots where I look fat! Obvious, yes, but some photogs just dont get it!
