  1. Here in Los Angeles, an inside cabin on a four night cruise to Baja California during the slow time (like the two/three weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas vacation for the schools) are the least expensive (even less than a the three night cruises).

Similar cruises out of Florida are offered (except they go to the Bahamas, not Baja California).

In relative terms, repositioning cruises are inexpensive.  However, as I said, that is a relative term.  If a normal one week cruise cost $700 per person (for an inside cabin or even an ocean view during a slow period) that is $100 per night.

So a repositioning cruise might be available for $840 per person, which costs more than a one week cruise, but a repositioning cruise might last longer, like two weeks, and thus works out to $60 per night.

There are also cruises to nowhere (CTN) offered every once in a while.  A CTN might run around $100 for a one night CTN up to about $300 for a two night CTN.

A CTN just goes out into international waters and goes nowhere at a slow speed, until it is time to go back.  It is a real cruise, just no port stops.  Here are some samples ...

  2. If you live close to the Pacific Ocean a Mexican cruise is fairly cheap. If not, probably a trip to the Carribean. Not to say that it's cheap, probably around 1200 bucks

  3. the cheaper cabins are located indoors, the trip will be cheaper if you live near one of the cruise lines ports.... the time of yr you travel also determines how much you will spend. Alaskan cruises and river cruises are the cheapest, followed by caribbean cruises
