What is the most innane policy you have to follow at your company?

My manager asked me to lock the second lock on a door that already has a lock only the maintenence guy and people in the office can open if they have the key...ugh

Just swiping the id card, if leaving office by 19:00hrs, swiping the card as also signing the register at the main gate, if departing thereafter. (Working hours end at 17:30hrs)

Not wearing open-toed shoes. I hate wearing closed shoes in 100 degree weather!

too lock one of our entrances after midnight for safety even though there are back doors with broken locks somone could come through and sneak up on you. the one we lock we can see and hear someone coming
