  1. Its not really a paranormal book but it deals with afterlife and I just love to plug it any chance I get so...

    The Great Divorce by C.S.Lewis.

Its about a spirit and its journey from what it views as h**l twoards heaven.

  2. not so much the paranormal, but spiritual growth...

Knight in Rusty Armour, cant remember the author.

  3. A weird book called "Foot in the Mouth" By Fereth Midlantle. It is a old book, and only 15 copies are still around.

  4. Out of all the books I have read on the Paranormal and on Parapsychology, from many different authors, there are more than a couple dozen Parapsychology books by Jane Roberts and Robert F. Butts, Jr. that I really enjoyed, but this one is my favorite of theirs: The Nature of Personal Reality.

There are hundreds of good books on the Paranormal and on Parapsychology, and thousands of them, if you include just a few other languages.

I suggest you consider checking out websites such as the Institute of Noetic Sciences, at http://www.noetic.org/

"IONS is a nonprofit membership organization exploring the frontiers of consciousness."  (From their "About IONS" page.)  IONS was founded by former US Astronaut Dr. Edgar Mitchell.

More than 400 articles, book reviews and research updates are available for free download at IONS, care of this URL:

    http://www.noetic.org/publications/libra...

There are many other websites such as this next one that all have good books, too:

Association for Research and Enlightenment (ARE), which is at http://edgarcayce.org/

From their "About Edgar Cayce/About ARE page:

"The Association for Research and Enlightenment, Inc. (A.R.E. ®), is a not-for-profit organization, founded in 1931 by Edgar Cayce (1877-1945), to research and explore transpersonal subjects such as holistic health, ancient mysteries, personal spirituality, dreams and dream interpretation, intuition, and philosophy and reincarnation."

  5. A true story of a boy who encounters ghosts and demons throughout his childhood and still to this day.  "The Other Side" by Denise Jones who is also the boy's mother.

  6. 'Why People Believe Weird Things' by Michael Shermer

'Demon Haunted World' by Carl Sagan

    'Voodoo Science' by Robert Park

  7. Hard to select just one so

    1. Demon Haunted World by Carl Sagan does a good job of laying out the skeptical side.

    2. The Conscious Universe by Dean Radin does a good job at laying out the supportive evidence for PSI.

    3. Varieties of Anomalous Experience is in my mind an objective (as far as human beings can be) examination of the evidence.

If you only read one I would pick number 3.

    Michael John Weaver, M.S., Director

    New Mexico Anomaly Society

  8. "Demon Haunted World"by Carl Sagan. All of his writing is excellent.

  9. David St. Claires "Instant ESP". The name sounds truly hokey, and I was skeptical that "psychic" abilities existed before, much less that I had them. Most of the popular "psychic" abilities can be learned easily through this book.

    Check it out at Amazon:

  10. Another vote for "Demon Haunted World" by Sagan. A great read.
