intense movie scene

feel free to list more than one

i'm going with the scene in A Beautiful Mind when Russell Crowe's baby is in danger of drowning in the bathtub. i think he was in the house, supposed to be supervising the baby, and neglecting his duty for some reason or other, perhaps involuntarily

thanks

  1. Yours made me think of the scene in Pet Semetery where Gage is running towards the road with the big semi speeding on it.   The first time you see it, your just like "OMG...OMG...OMG!"

  2. The Part Of The Dark Knight With The Hospital Getting Bombed Honestly I Cried

  3. The Black Balloon when the normal brother beats up his autistic brother...i cannot imagine having to go through that much pain...i cried

  4. In Brokeback Mountain, the first love scene, so intense and real. Brilliant movie

  5. Luca Brasi getting strangled in THE GODFATHER.

The first twenty minutes of SAVING PRIVATE RYAN.

  6. The scene in the movie "Full Metal Jacket" in the barracks bathroom when the fat guy shoots his sargent and then shoots himself.....or the scene in "A Clockwork Orange" when they crazy guys break into a lady's house in the country where they rob and sexually harass her.

  7. Derailed - the ending when Clive Owen knows he's been conned and puts himself back in the hotel situation. (it's hard to explain if u haven't seen the movie)

Million Dollar Baby - when she (in slow motion) broke her neck on the stool. I literally was like "O ****... "

Plus most of the scenes from the SAW movies make my legs go numb. Those death traps are too intense.

Misery - when she breaks his foot with the club/hammer.

I was like "NO DONT DO IT!" It was so sick...

  8. Maybe I'm kind of sentimental, but these are my most intense movie scenes:

James Cameron's Titanic - Rose is sitting in the lifeboat lowering to the sea, while Jack and Caldon are standing aside at deck to say goodbye, just a few moments before she decides to leave the boat and reenter the ship.

Very cheesy, but also very intense...

Alien 3 - Ripleys last task

She rejects Bishops offer (he plans a surgical intervention to isolate the chestburster out of her) and  slumps into the molten lead.

The Mist - ending scene (s**t happened)

  9. I think in seve when brad pitt was deciding or not to shoot kevin spacey for what he did to his wife. I wanted him to but i didn't. If it makes any sense...

  10. The scene in Jurassic Park when the T-Rex breaks through the fence. That part still gives me goosebumps!  When the cables go *psnap, psnap, psnap*, and you're like, "Oh, Sh**!" The first time I saw that, it scared the c**p outta me, because I remember how REAL that dinosaur looked! I was like, "How did they DO that?"

But I had already read the book 2 years before - I knew that scene was going to be scary.

  11. the burning bed when farrah fawcett is pouring gasoline all over her husbands bed with her husband in it..and then when she left with the kids all u saw was flames..very good movie

  12. In the movie Gladiator, the end fight scene. shoot the whole movie was good.

  13. In one of the living dead movies (i forget which one) the bad guy gets ripped apart by zombies. It was awesome 'cause the zombies were eating him while he was alive and he was so badass he was saying "I hope you choke on it!"
