What is the most magical town or city in Canada that you've been to?

For me it's Nelson, BC. That town has something magical and indescribable about it. I'm wondering if there are any places as nice as that.

Perhaps you would also answer too, why you think that is. Whether it's something about the town itself, the people, the natural surroundings or more than just one of those things.

Thanks

  1. Quebec city, the old part, is amazing. Also, Eugenia, ON (close to Collingwood) is a magestic part of Ontairo. Both of these places have an amazing lure about them, it is so beautiful. PEI is an amazing part of Canada too, anywhere there.

  2. I visited Niagra Falls and it was incredible! This is a very beautiful place to visit and tour. The surroundings of the falls are incredible and the people are very friendly. I would highly recommend planning a trip to view the power and beauty of the falls.

  3. Kelowna

without a doubt and without reservation, Kelowna

  4. Oddly enough, Thunder Bay, Ontario. You'd think a town of around 125,000 people would be kind of bustling and busy, compared to most areas in Canada. In reality, Thunder Bay is like this tiny town. Everyone pretty much knows everyone else. The area is beautiful and the people are absolutely friendly. And sure, while some areas of the city are bad, in a lot of areas, you can leave your front door open all night and still feel safe. Most people in the city have this unrelenting pride in Thunder Bay and most people who come here want to return.

  5. I think Banff is really beautiful.

  6. I would have to say Fort Vermilion, Alberta. It is a very tiny town way up in Northern Alberta. I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. The Peace River flows by it on one side, and it absolutely beautiful.

  7. Nova-Scotia.

there are many small towns in N-S and it is the best place to live/visit/retire, basically anything. It's a really quiet place and there are a lot of small towns. living is cheap, and the people are friendly. It's an amazing place to go to.

  8. You have excellent taste. That's my favourite town in the Kootenays. My personal favourite: Parksville.

  9. Lockeport, New Ross and Chester  NS
