One cat I used to have, used to talk a lot, I mean she was constantly talking like a crazy bag lady. Sometimes she talked to the other cats, or talk with you as if you were having a conversation, other times she'd talk to the tv or radio, and sometimes she would just sit or wander around talking to herself. What was special about her was that she liked to cuddle in the nook of my neck when ever it was bed time.

  1. Pippi's eyes.. she has these green intense eyes that are so mysterious! we can communicate with each other and she knows I love her! she will meow to get my attention and walks right up on my lap and head butts my chin and when you reach to pet her, she melts into your hand! I so love my pippi.. she comes to you if your laughing and she likes to play with a this rainbow string on the bed.. I run in figure 8's and she chases it but overall, it is her whole essence. she loves to lay on my back, im reading on my tummy and she hops up and curls up at the bask of my back above my butt.. she is the BEST!

  2. Our cat when she wants something will sit up on her haunches and then lift her paw and wave just like the good luck cat of the Chinese.

Sometimes she will extend to be standing momentary on her hind legs. If one does not pay attention, she will rap both her paws around your ankle and try to stop you from leaving before she gets what she wants.  It is very charming and unusual and no one taught her to do it.

  3. My cat stole an entire new york strip steak in the package off of the kitchen table and ate it. I couldnt even be mad because that was one of the funniest things Ive ever seen. She always used to growl whenever we gave her sushi. She sounded more like a dog than a cat. haha oh man. I miss her.

  4. We've got three cats. One is 'Sammy' who is a 10ish year old Chocolate point Siamese~he likes to steal my computer seat when I get up because he has claimed it as his own and I guess I'm just borrowing it. The middle child is 'Rose' who is 5 years old and she likes to drink out of the sink~if not, you have to put ice cubes in her water bowl for her or she hunts you down and makes you do it before you go to bed. The baby is ' Lillie' who is 2 years old and she sounds like she talks about as much as yours did. I'm sorry for your loss btw. I know how hard it is to lose your cat.

  5. I have a crazy Tortoise shell who thinks she should have been born human.  Actually torties are a kind of mutation--they are only females and have extra genetic material which in order to stay in the feline species has to be shut off  along with the color genes which is why they are so splotchy.  Anyway, she does the same thing with the neck, the meowing etc.  When I first let her out she had to encounter street cat reality.  she is such a Queen of Sheba that she actually walked up to the reigning tom cat and made obeisance to him.  And when he did not respond, she backed off looking puzzled and repeated the gesture upon which he launched himself on her.  There was a blur of twisting fur, a screech of combat and she emerged unscathed to rush into my room a much sadder but wiser cat.  And she actually sobbed once or twice.  Really, it was sooooo amazing.   Cats are such emotionally wise creatures and have much to teach us folks who think just intellect rules.  It does the way things are now, but not wisely.  May we all survive it intact.
