What is the most miles you ever got on one car?

What car was it and how many miles did or does it have? Also if it still ran. I had a 1989 Mercury Grand Marquis and I got about 590K miles out of it.

i have a 90 civic at 240,000 on the original engine and trans.

then i totaled it while i was drinking a bottle of whisky

wow thats alot of miles, my mercedes has about 273k on it and is still goin strong
