About 50 years ago, a neighbor had an out house(outside privy) and I poured a gallon of gasoline into the pit and left a trail out the back. This was just after dark and as I touched it off with a match, thinking it was empty, it went up like a rocket. The neighbor came out slapping her rear end and screaming. It didn't burn her seriously but scared her. Later, she said she'd never eat cabbage again. When my mom asked her why, she said it was because it caused her out house to burn down.

I never did anything like that again.
