  1. The floors pancaked together.  There was no space for anyone to survive.  The story of John McLoughlin is told in the movie World Trade Center.  He and others were trapped by rubble in the concourse between the 2 towers, and were rescued within 22 hours (Sept. 12th).


  2. i don't think they found anyone after the 1st 24 hours.

    the firemen were the last 2 they pulled out alive.
