What is the most number of hours or days that you've been stuck in an airport?

Due to bad weather, flight delay or cancellation, have you ever been stuck in an airport. I was recently stuck two days. Really stressful, how did you cope?

a little over 2 days in Columbia South Carolina,  massive snow storm back around 1995. We barely managed to get the pax in as the snow was really starting to come down, and all we had to do was go back to Nashville and we were off for 3 days.. and they closed the airport on us because of low vis...  we were qualified to take off... but when the airport closes not much you can do. We tried to get a waiver, a release, anything.. but by then the snow was so deep on the runway... that killed it. They had equipment problems and by the time they got normal operations going again... it was about 2 days later.  Just in time to get back to Nashville and go back to work.

I was stuck at Gatwick for 10 hours, as my plane to Florida was delayed for 7 hours. It was basically the knock on effect of a terrorism threat a week earlier.

I was stuck in the Las Vegas airport for 14 hours. It was due to me being stupid... I acidentally booked it for a day later than what I needed to leave, and the next flight was a red eye. I got in at 9 AM and the next best flight was at 11 PM. I guess out of all airports though, that was the most entertaining with the slot machines.

I was pretty pissed at myself, but I used the time to catch up with some friends, read a book, sleep, eat, etc. It was a must that I bought a traveling blanket and pillow at that point...

3 days. It was in Denver in a blizzard. It was horrible, airport was crowded, hotels were all booked. It was stressful but I did get through it.

"Only" 5 hours for me.....but it was 5 hours outbound and 5 hours again on the return and it was ON the plane on the tarmac...not just at the airport.

With lots of kids on the plane......it was that moment I swore I'd never fly economy again.

I might still get a delay but I'm not sharing it with a plane load of kids with parents who don't care how they behave.
