  1. Mackinaw Island in Michigan just a ferry ride from Mackinaw city. Mackinaw Island has only four cars. An ambulance, fire truck, and two police cars.  People walk, bike or ride in horse drawn buggies.


  2. Venice - there are no roads and traffic cannot enter the city.  Cars have to be left at a parking lot on the city outskirts.  Travel within the city is on foot or by boat.

  4. I would say somewhere in Holland, or northern europe. The cars respect bikes much more as well as pedestrians.
