On the 11th of May 1935, St George 91 (19t, 17g) defeated Canterbury-Bankstown 6 (3g) at Earl Park. This was in Round 5 of the 1935 competition and surprisingly, St George would miss the finals that year. It was a rare season as the four teams who made the finals were Wests, Easts, Souths and Norths. Easts beat Souths in the final 19-3 at the S.C.G.

The most points scored in a NRL game is 70 by melbourne against St George-Illawarra. The most points in a match was on 19 March 06 when Newcastle 70 defeated Canberra 32 for a record total of 102 points in the match easily eclipsing the 1935 record.

Also the 92 scoreline was not in the NRL as the NRL didn't exist at the time. It was in the NSWRL.

However, when you convert for the fact that tries now are worth 4 points instead of three St George of 1935 conversion would give St George a scoreline of 110 points by todays standards therefore making it the highest score in a Rugby League game. But then again your question was about the NRL.
