  8. Patricia.....Patrick

  9. No real irish person would spell sean with a W, and any irish girl with that name would be doomed to a miserable life of teasing.

  10. Probably Ciara or Aoife, maybe Siobhan,

for boys - Conor, Liam or Stephen

  11. traditional names like Aoife,Eithne,Niamh,Maeve & Aisling are popular for girls. I know boys called Connor,Colm,Kieran,Aidan & Liam

Some names that are considered 'irish' in the USA/Canada areconsidered more 'stage Oirish' by the true Irish--such as Erin,Shannon,Shawna,Caitlin & Colleen. Much more common in the US than Ireland, though they are found on occasion in Ireland due to the influence of tv/film.

Caitlin is a particularly interesting one, as in North America it is always pronounced Kate-lynn. In Ireland it's the Gaelighe version of Kathleen & is pronounced something like 'Katchleen.'

  12. Ciara and Ciaran. Luvin da 1st name!!! lol!!!

  13. 'Clancy' is very popular.

  14. marius or mohammad for a boy

  17. boys - sean, liam, patrick, darragh, michael

Girls : Niamh, Aisling, Aoife, Shannon, Aine

  18. Here they are...in order.

Boys: Sean, Jack, Conner, Adam, James, Daniel, Luke, Cian, Michael, Jamie.

Girls: Sarah, Emma, Katie, Aoife, Sophie, Ava, Grace, Ella, Leah, Ciara.

  19. Saoirse for a girl (meaning freedom) Or Siobhan (with a fada over the a) Sean or Seamus for a boy.
