I think there are probably more tabbies than anything else, with brown, grey and orange being most common (my guess is brown is the most common).

"Bought"?  Most cats are domestic (aka, no particular breed) and either found as strays, from litters from people who allow their cat to breed or adopted from shelters.  Not sure what most "popular" colour would be but most common would probably be Brown Mackerel Tabby.

I have never seen an all-white cat.

I believe tabby cats and black cats are the most popular.
