depends on age groups and town/city/country area, moslty rock/indie music is most popular, particularly our homegrown bands

It's hard to determine the most popular style of music over here but from what I know of people around me, R&B & rap are very popular amongst young people. Then again, most people in collage would be into the indie/ alternative scene. Out in the country villages it is very different again with country music and traditional music being the most popular.

Then there is me, who is into the metal scene and so is all my friends! Again it is another popular style, although not in the charts. So many different types....everything is acceptable!
