  1. Global warming is one of the biggest threats we face, that and the ignorant people who believe it is something made up.

I think I'll ignore international panels of thousands of scientists and listen to the dozen scientists my oil tycoon president has hired...  I'm sure that they will give an unbiased opinion on whether or not there is such a thing a global warming.

It also makes a great deal of sense to drill in limited oil fields that will irreverisbly damage some of the last wild environments that we have.  Besides they are just frozen wastlelands that support hundreds of species in a unique ecosystem.  I'm sure that the extra oil we don't have to import will bring down the cost of gas, even though we don't have the refineries to process it into gas and we still have not replaced the oil refineries that were lost in Katrina.

Why should we listen to Al Gore, he is just a highly educated, articulate person, who put together an easily accessible, intelligent description of global warming with something that is a four letter word in the Bush administration, EVIDENCE!!!

After all, who cares of the average wprld tempature goes up a degree or two?  Lets ignore the fact that the last ice age was brought about by an average global temperature about 2-3 degrees colder than now.

Wake up people, it is real, we are among its causes, and we need to do something about it before we make our children try to clean up a giant mess.

To answer your question more directly...  Global Warming, buy less gas.  It will help decrease your carbon emissions and save you money.

    Bring on the thumbs down...

  2. water waste, easily cut 5 mins off your shower.

keep water in the fridge so u dont "run" the water for a cold drink.

and maybe if you can wash your (dark0 clothes in cold water

  3. All things combined - deforestation, pollution, drilling, waste, consumerism = ignorance...

so get clued up so you know the problems

and just as importantly, the answers / solutions,

    sorting out the confusion.

And hey, that wont cost you a single penny cos the info. is all available here, for FREE:

  4. We should be investing in bio-fuel and take the funds out of nuclear weapons manufacturing.

  5. The hot air coming from the mouths of the environmental fright industry led by Al Bore is causing headaches for people with common sense.

  6. carbon footprint. i try not to waste gas and energy whenever possible. i would love to put solar panels on my roof, but they are expensive, so are hybrid cars.

  7. I cannot think of any right now.

Save those funds and invest them in something worthwhile like Exxon stock.................

  8. Mine is to get the environmentalists off our backs!!  Im all for maintaining the environment!!  But this is going to far!! We are all being held hostage by them--- cant drill cant explore cant build cant do anything!! Except watch prices go up and up and up!! and dont be blamin Bush and his cronies no way!! The oil companies love the greenies they are the ones who have given big oil the opportunity to rake in billions and billions!!

  9. if everyone in europe, uk and us alone were just a bit more conscientious about saving energy that would make a massive difference.

  10. Lack of Recycling.  For the most part recycling is free and 'can' be profitable.

    Aluminum is $0.67/pound now...

It's takes a lot less energy to reuse recycled items than it does to produce them from raw materials.

  11. In my view it is habitat destruction due the the growing human population. There is absolutely nothing that can be done about it with limited funds, because the only real way to control population growth is by making people rich. Rich countries all have slowly growing populations and poor countries have fast growing populations. No law or program or education can stop it. But when people have plenty of food, and a secure life, they almost always just choose to have smaller families. Poor people get all their security from family, so they have large families.

  12. GLOBAL WARMING/EARTHQUAKE/TSUNAMI/ NUCLEAR POWE/PLASTIC BAGS/TORNOTO/TYPHOON  are most Environemental issue.

If we have limited fund, be utilised fully for Environmental issue only.

Same way We all have to Save WATER/GAS/ELECTRICITY/PETROL/DIESE/ALL METAL ORES  etc.

The above all are necessary for Day to Day life. But we all have to reduce the useages of the above for our Earth.

  13. question 1) Global Warming.

    question 2) Vote For Democrats.

  14. consumerism.  At the rate we are going, we will consume ourselves (globally) into oblivion.  That's what is driving our environmental problems.  I can stop consuming so much, which will also improve my limited funds situation.  I like it.
