it varies, of course, depending on economy, events, etc. stocks and real estate can be very profitable, just look into warren buffet, donald trump.... many think that oil is a huge profit maker, which right now it is... but in reality, most oil companies make a profit of only $0.08 on a dollar. they make so much because it is a multi billion dollar business. right now, the most profitable large company is Microsoft that i have researched into. Microsoft makes somewhere in between $0.40 and $0.50 off of each dollar. don't quote me on all this info.. its been a few months since Ive looked into it ; )
