  1. organic or really nice sweets

    cards

    wrapping paper

just original querky things you can't get anywhere else

    ect

  2. I will tell you. Buying Wholesale and Liquidation merchandise for resell is the most profitable. It can be liquidation jewelry, cosmetics, or clothing such as designer children's apparel, plus size or junior. You can buy like new product with tags and sell it in your shop for 200% + markup. Not allot of people know where to find good product is the secret. I get all of my supply from a site called http://www.Wholesale611.com Wholesale and Liquidation Auctions Search Engine. Great Deals. Good Luck

  3. I think the most profitable thing to do from a small shop would

be to run a prostitution ring and make p**n videos.

  4. Well, good businesses rely on knowing the demographics of an area (income, age range, s*x, etc), and delivering a competitive advantage.

You should consider the profitability of an item by looking at the net ROI (Return on Investment). An item that cost you 1cent which you later sold at 2cents may seem like a very attractive option, since you have made 100% profit, but you would have to sell huge volumes - several thousand of them a day in order for you to have a viable business because of fixed and operating costs. Not an option in a small shop.

Shops are bound by their location and size, so as a general rule, you should look into selling items that have a high unit sales price so that you don't have to sell as many to break even. Somebody mentioned jewellery which is the right idea, and you can consider games, dvds, ipods, MP3 players - you know, items that do not take up a lot of space and have a high unit sales price.

There are various equations to figure out the maximum ROI of an item, but you can very easily figure it out for yourself in your own unique situation.

    1. Competitive advantage of your shop => No. of customers per day.

    2. Max Net Profit  = Sales - (Fixed costs + Variable Operating costs)

    3. Where Sales = No. of customers x Profit per Unit.

It's a difficult balance, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure out the best way to beat the competition, give value to your community, and make a handsome profit.

  5. Jewelery?

  6. promising real estate in florida. all kidding aside though you should really sell something that you have a passion for yourself not just what will be the most profitable. If you like antiques try selling them, or anything else your into it'll be easier to sell them since you'll be able to answer questions about your products with much more ease than if you started selling something you know nothing about
