What is the most "not-car friendly" food you've eaten WHILE driving?

It could be something super-messy, something too big for one-handed eating, even something that took your attention away from the road...

The key ingredient here, is anything you've looked back and thought, "Why did I even TRY to eat that whjile driving? Was I Nuts?"

Please, only TRUE answers, best one (that I believe!) gets the points! ;-)

  1. tacos

  2. i subway, a bit too big for my mouth, everything decides to come out of the sides however cruise control does help if you are trying to eat, do not worry about driving the car lol,

  3. McDonalds burgers. They used to be in paper wraps so you could adjust them and eat and drive. Then, some genius decided to put them into little boxes. Not a lot of thought went into that decision

  4. Chilli Cheese Fries. P=

  5. Progresso Italian Wedding Soup, I only attempted it once, and had to stop suddenly, and had it splatter all over ME, the dashboard, and the floor. UGGGHHH  what a mess.

I promised myself I'd NEVER eat soup while driving again.

The messiest food I routinely eat while driving (and never learn my lesson) would be Taco Bell's tacos, although KFC's mashed potato bowls come in a close second.

    (especially at night)

  6. One time, I was eating a microwave chicken potpie while I was driving.  I had it sitting in my lap and I used a plastic fork so I could throw it away when I was done

  7. DQ foot long hot dog. Need two hands to eat it.

  8. Chilli from Wendys.

    Ice cream on a cone!

  9. A Carl's Junior Six Dollar burger.  It's a huge hamburger with lots of lose toppings that just gets all over the place.  Hard enough to eat with both hands while sitting at a table, let alone trying to one-hand it while running down the freeway at 70 per.

  10. I have a horrible habit of eating messy foods with sauce/condiments while I am driving. BBQ sandwiches, chicken quesadillas with taco sauce, chicken fingers dipped in honey mustard, fries and ketchup... you get the idea.

The worst one was when I was eating a Checkers burger while driving down a through-street, and was picking the pickles off of it (because they always put pickles on even when I explicitly ask them not to). I was absolutely not paying attention AT ALL when suddenly my car hit something very large in the middle of the road. I dropped the burger and looked up, and realized that I had RUN OVER A TRAFFIC CIRCLE that was in the middle of the 4-way intersection of two through-streets.

My alignment hasn't been right since, but I suppose that's what I get. Thank God it wasn't something living!
