  1. I dont know the amount of travel you got now on your bike.  The longest travel fork for downhill is 203mm there is a Rock Shox boxxer racer fork for about 645 on jensonusa.com and speedgoat.com.  But you have to have a bike that can handle that much travel.  If your looking for a fork with 180mm of travel Marzocchi RC-3 is on sale at jensonusa.com.  Also jensonusa.com has Marzocchi 55 TST2 with 160mm of travel and sale which is a good price.  But with out knowing what you got now, and how much more travel you want, its hard to recommend a fork for you.  Just shop around and look.  Jensonusa.comm, wheelworld.com, pricepoint.com all have deals righ now on forks.

  2. DHbiker is right...hard to recommend one for you without more information.  In addition to what he listed, I'll add that I've seen some older (new stock) Manitou Dorados for about $430 online.

Also, you could think about a used fork....this is a good time to get them since people are switching to '09 forks or '08 closeouts.  If you shop smart, you can pick up a used fork in great condition for cheap.

Post back with more about your bike and usage and we can help more.   (Side note: if your bike isn't made for "more travel", this might be a bad and unsafe idea.  You really need to stick within the manufacturer's spec for how the bike was designed.)
