Depends on what you want.  Vancouver has 'great' food in just about everything except Mexican.

For areas of Vancouver with lots of Restaurants, I'd check out:

   (1) Denman St. (Downtown)

   (2) Robson St. (Downtown)

   (3) West Broadway (West of Grandville)

   (4) Grandville Island

Any of those places will give you access to literally 100's of good places.
