All makes have their own issues, some major, some trivial.

The 4 strokes are generally more reliable than the 2 strokes but can be very expensive to repair comparitively.

Seadoo's have some major issues. The supercharger clutch fails on a regular basis and they have a tendency to drop valves through the engine.

sea-doos are good, and popular, but a 4 stroke will be less maintenance and also, doesn't take the type of oil required for a sea-doo. the sea-doo oil is very expensive, and can be difficult to find. I have owned many sea-doo's over the years and every one of them took around $800 -$1200 annually to "repair" something. always needed a fix. the 4 stroke Honda turbos I had didn't cost 1 extra penny and I owned them for 3 years of hard and frequent use. so, any 4 stroke would be better than the 2 strokes of the not so distant past. I still prefer Honda.

Sea-Doos... Any brand name that is synonymous with the brand name means it is the best. Think of Kleenex, Band-Aids or Jello. All three are brand names that are now the standard for that category of product.

dude, if you get a jet-ski, Please stay out of the way of wake boarders / Skiers... You have no idea how annoying it is to have a bunch of jet skis zooming by you or zipping right passed the front of the boat when the skier / wake boarder wants smooth water... so basically all im asking is if you ever go to conroe stay in the main middle part of the lake, or go to a choppy lake... don't pollute smooth water...
