  1. it does rather depend on what you are using the boat for.i would opt for a diesel.they are more reliable and give less problems than a petrol  engine.air cooled duetz which come jn a variety of cylinder arrangements.they are slightly more noisy but this is more than made up for in reliabilty.They are easily serviced.Also very easy to get parts for.

  8. I used to own a 22-foot Catalina, and it was powered by a 7.5 hp Honda outboard. Never had any problems, and was wonderfully easy to work on.

  9. A set of paddles.   They rarely break down and require little maintenance.   They work in any weather, but have been known to be faster when inclement weather is coming.

  10. They all have issues. yamaha has a 6Yr warranty>And who has the best price> Being repaired around you not 50 miles away>
