What is the most reliable online or non company to have DNA testing done to find out your ancestry?

Just looking for the most reliable company that does this at the most affordable prices. Has anyone had this done?

Yes.  I used www.familytreedna.com, the best and the leaders in their field.  You can learn a lot about DNA by going to their site.  I received my written report in about 2 - 3 weeks and have my own webpage on their site.

There are other sites, of course, but I prefer one that is a leader and has well-qualified person doing the work.  Also, surprise, when I had mine done, they were cheaper than some of the others as well as being better.

Family Tree DNA is in my opinion the best, most reliable and efficient DNA testing company, they were founded in 1999 and are the oldest, most experienced company out there  (they also do the testing for the National Geographic's Genome project) their prices are very competetive and if you join a surname project through them, either your actual name or a variant, free, you will receive a discount on the tests that you order. You have your own page with permanent access to your results with links to add your results to other data bases if you wish.
