Weeeeell... my great aunt died in her sleep 10 days after her husband of 59 years died in his sleep.  They were very close.  In their old age he became somewhat handicapped and she had to care for him but never complained.  I thought that was very romantic.  It was like they were meant to live together, and when she no longer had to care for him she followed him.
