What is the most someone can make doing childcare?

I want to do something that deals with kids but nothing in that category makes money really. Would I make more a year teaching elementary school or owning a pre-school? Any other jobs you know of that deals with children and pays good let me know..

Some nannies are paid nice salaries. It depends on your location and your experience.

My mother owns a pre-school, and I work as an elementary school teacher.  I make more than she does, but then my job requires more education.
