  1. all are as hard as eachother, but the hardest for a beginner is either id say flamenco or classical? cos of the crazy finger picking, but also rock can be very hard with 6 finger tappin and such

  2. They're all the same.  All forms of music build and borrow from others.

There's a song called "Fracture" by King Crimson where the guitarist named Robert Fripp sounds like he's playing 2 or 3 guitars at once. However, the piece was recorded live with no overdubs. He's always claimed that's the most difficult piece he's ever played.  After listening to it, I can't disagree with him.

So based on his recommendation, I'd have to go with rock.

  3. Classical guitar is all about TECHNIQUE... Flamenco is about the same but a Flamenco guitar has a lower action than a Classical so it's faster to play.

You can play folk, blues, rock etc on either a classical or a Flamenco guitar.

  4. i've heard classical

  5. I'd say Flamenco only because many of it's songs require you to carry and intricate rhythm with your fingers while you play at difficult timings.

It also has probably the most techniques specific to the genre. Their not easy either, look at this link.
