  1. ohhh some of you are really pessimist about the French !!!!

I can tell  that I love english tourists ... and in Paris people are always stressed ... so choose a city in " Bretagne "  west of France !!!! yeah I love lansdcapes and people are really kind !!!

  2. France and welcome in the same sentence?

  3. Well, the French are not very forthcoming to tourists but you probably have the  best luck in Paris.

My husband is French.  If you try to speak a little French they will be kinder to you than if your do not.

The French are tough people but they can be nice too if you are polite to them and not acting like the "ugly American".

Marseilles is very cosmopolitan now; most of my relatives live there.

  4. Tours is a great place to visit. The people are lovely and the food is even better!

  5. French people don't really like tourists. If you don't speak the language, or even a bit, they don't make it easy to get by. Paris is definitley not friendly. I would travel to grenoble or around there. It's much more beautiful and friendly.

  6. cannes in the south they are very tourist freindly

  7. Why would you post this three times?

  8. I have always found France to be extremely friendly and the people to be great. I think that a lot of people who have posted here are just stereotyping and being prejudiced. English speaking people are just as intolerant of people who don't speak English. A little bit of foreign language ability goes a long way. Brush up on your French and you'll have a great time.

Paris is like any major city, tourists are well catered for. Try some of the other cities like Lyon or Marseille, both great. My favourite smaller place is Chambery in the Alps, totally beautiful.

  9. I  visited  France  for  first  3  years  ago  and  i  wonder  my  self  why  i  waited  so  long??  try  to  speak  their  language  like  you  expect  at  your  home  town  and  you  will  have  lots  of  fun  gorgeous  place..

  10. None they all hate the Brits from  Paris downwards.  I wouldnt step in the country again.
