There are many beautiful tropical beaches outside of PV.  If you are interested in seeing little known beaches i.e. few-none tourists or even Nationals, contact Pedro at [e-mail].  Tell him PnPadventures sent you.  He is a native of PV and has his own touring business.  He can give you a private tour of several beaches that are an 1 hour-2hours away.  Good luck and have fun.

You can take a water taxi to Quimixto, south of P.V., where you can lounge on the beach near the restraunt/bar or rent horses to ride up to the water fall. However, it gets pretty crowded and noisy when the tour boat comes in so get there early.
