As much as I love them, combustion engines/automobiles. There wouldn't be any tree huggers if there wasn't the pollution they produce. Wars would be still centered around taking land from someone, and not oil.

People wouldn't be quite as obese, and it would generally be a better all around life with out the Automobile.
