I paid just over a thousand dollars for a first class ticket to PVR the other day (from IAH) - they served me a cheese burger... I figure that if it was a line item, it'd have been at least $70.

It was good, but I'd have paid no more than $20 for it.

I paid $18 for a kobe burger the other day. Wouldn't do that again. There are plenty of places around here where I'll happily pay up to $10 for a burger.

hmm, about £10 because I love cheese burgers, but it would have to be luxury tastey and good looking, as if you spent ten quid on a burger you want to look good!

I refuse to eat a cheese burger from any restaurant.  I like to make my own so I can choose the meat I use.  Some of that stuff they use is restaurants is NOT what they say.  It is full of fat.  I use only hamburger that has 3% fat content.

For a McDonalds type cheeseburger? No more than £1 ($2 US). Those cheeseburgers are tiny, just three or four bites and they're gone.

For a real "home cooked" type of cheeseburger, I might stretch to £4 but no more than that. Wetherspoons in the UK do a very nice deal where you get a pint of beer plus a big, fat, juicy cheeseburger - complete with salad and fries - for less than £5. Perfect for lunch.
