What is the movie twilight going to be rated?

no its not gonna be rated R. catherine hardwicke and stephenie meyer said that most likely it will be rated PG-13

I am pretty sure it will be reated PG-13 because of the violence at the end. There is no way they would make a young adult book seried rated R. I am definately positive it is not rated R.

PG-13, definitely. The producers wouldn`t let it be scary enough to be R, because some parents won`t let their kids watch R-rated movies until their a certain age (mine didn`t).

It said on imdb.com that it was promised a PG13 rating, even though it's not listed yet. Reasons why it won't be rated R:

- The Author is a Mormon and does not watch R rated movies. Why would the film company make her book into a movie she wouldn't watch?

- The novels are way too clean for an R rating. I know books and movies are always different, but the movie will still potray that innocent kind of love.
