It's the tube-like thing that connects the plane to the gate at the airport, and it can be moved around to attach to different planes. I want to know what the actual name for it is.

Its called a loading bridge or jet bridge.  One of the big companies that manufacturers them is called "JetWay Systems" so many times they are also referred to as jetways.
