  1. There are several conifers that are deciduous.  One that comes to mind is Larix decidua.

  2. Some conflicting information here. The definition of a deciduous tree is that it sheds its leaves annually according to yahoo dictionary here and their definition for a conifer is a little more complex but here at this link. It seems like a contradiction of terms yet when a yahoo search is done you get hits. Perhaps you phrased the question incorrectly and are asking for evergreen deciduous trees or something else. Or a conifer that isn't an evergreen. Deciduous trees are angiosperms and conifers are gymnosperms. But I guess that is not always the case. Learn something new everyday. That second website down could be legit, so I'll say swamp cypress, if no one else has already.

    It looks like it has needles, like pine needles in the photo, probably naked seeds, and they change color and it sheds them. Thank you for an enlightening question!
