Listen buddy, I know its hard being a parent, but you have to have at least the courage to talk with your kids. Just go into their room while they're doing homework, and just casually drop the question. If it works out, see if you can ask them out on a second date, where you can have coffee or something. Take it slow, get to know them, and soon you'll know them like the back of your hand. ;)
