A headboard for a bed but it's to the site? Instead of the headboard being for a vertical facing bed, it's for a horizontal one?

a bed can have a head board, it doesn't matter if it's up or horizontal it's located at the head and it will be a headboard.then there is a foot board or side boards.

If you talking about a day bed then the head board is on the side but if that bed opens up it will be a head board .
