Okay, so it was translated into English and it was a paperback with a black and red cover.

The main character was a guy and a girl and the perspective kept changing and they were dropped off on an island by the school and there was another guy(kid) who had survived before. Who helped them escape and they only made it through by tricking the monitors into thinking they were dead.
