There is a report, both japanese and usa researchers made some kind of cell, Its unfction is similar with stem cell, and teh cell is made form skin cell. what is the name of the cell?

If I got it right, you are talking about the research in which they took skin stem cells and made them into pluripotent cells. They gave the cells the ability to differentiate into many kind of cells, just like embryonic stem cells.

Researchers took a terminally differentiated skin cell, infected it with a engineered lentivirus (similar to HIV) and turned it into a stem cell.

You would call this an artificially induced stem cell.

The reason this hasn't caught on yet is the virus inserts itself into the genome randomly.  The virus is harmless, but it could insert somewhere important.

The name is still a "stem cell", but it is an "Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell" (IPSC), and not an Embryonic Stem Cell (aka "Pluripotent Stem Cell") or an Adult Stem Cell ("Multipotent Stem Cell").
