What is the name of the effect on a camera that shows pictures in black white and a color of your choice?

i'm trying to find the name of the filter effect on a camera that makes the picture black and white and another color that you choose. I think certain canon cameras have the effect if you know what it is called please tell me!!

Canon calls it "Color Accent." The technique is generally known as selective color.

Most of my shots on my Sony I take in "Vivid" color. I take a lot of scenics and they look great.
