    the piece is called 'O Verona' and the composer is Craig Armstrong..

    You can find it on the second CD release of the Original soundtrack to Romeo & Juliet (not the first OST)


  2. I'm not sure what's at the beginning of Romeo And Juliet, but recently in orchestra we played the suites and "Montagues and the Capulets" was a very famous movement at the beginning?

    It's by Prokofiev if that helps.  

  3. Which Romeo and Juliet? The Baz Luhrmann film had its own music composed, though O Verona does bear a distinct resemblance to Karl Orff's O Fortuna.
