What is the name of the finishing compound found on 2 piece projection screens?It's a light gaining finishx14

I would like to redo the finish on a 6 foot screen I have and Also make a wide screen for a newer look than the 4:8. My Screen is a sony 72 inch, it goes with a 3 gun projector that works well but the screen needs a couple of new coats. I have no name for the chemical finish and I would like to purchase the right materials but have no name for the compounds in use....Any ideas, Any retirees from that industry with the knowledge would be Very Helpful.

I'm pretty sure that it will be some sort of glass microbeads. These tend to fall off and leave patches. I don't even know if recoating is an option.
