It is implanted in your non-dominate arm. It a single tube that lasts for 3 years. And if you have tried it tell me what you think. I am planning on asking my doctor about it. Thanks

  1. just called the implant....i have one and i will warn you now if you have irregular periods or migraines dont do it. i had really irregular periods and now i am constantly on because of this implant. i could take the combined pill but i have migraines so i am only allowed the mini pill which dosent really work. however if you have your period like clockwork its apparently really good...feel free to email me with questions!

  2. Implanon

I haven't tried it yet because my insurance won't cover it - but I've heard it works well - does have side effects though.

  3. It's called Implanon.  It's just recently (2006) been approved by the FDA.
